The Luzon bleeding heart dove is native to the
forests of the Philippines.

These birds feeds on seeds, fallen berries and
insects on the forest floor.

Luzon bleeding heart doves can grow to
be 30 centimeters (approximately 10 inches) long and weigh 184 grams.
Interesting Fact:
The Luzon bleeding heart dove gets its
name from the bright red spot on its chest.
