Range and habitat:
The golden-headed lion tamarin is native to the primary and secondary lowland tropical forests of Brazil.

Natural diet:
This species feeds on insects and fruit and occasionally bird eggs and lizards.

Size / weight range:
The tamarin grows to be 6 inches tall and weighs up to 1.5 pounds.
