Range and habitat:
Open and brush-covered savanna throughout southern Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia south to Angola, Namibia, Botswana and northeastern South Africa.

Natural diet:
Grasses. 

Size / weight range:
Head and body length is between 5 feet, 7 inches and 7 feet, 11 inches. Sshoulder height is between 3 feet, 9 inches and 4 feet, 9 inches.
Wildebeest can weigh between
300 and 650 pounds.

Interesting Facts:
Both males and females have horns.
Males are very territorial and spar often.
