The Toledo Zoo is located 4 miles south of downtown Toledo.

Traveling southbound from the Ann Arbor area, take US 23 south to the 475 East Toledo exit. (Left exit off of 23) Then take I-75 south to the #201-A exit and go south on state route 25 (Maumee) to The Toledo Zoo parking lot.

Traveling south bound from the Detroit Metro area, take I-75 south to the #201-A exit. Take state route 25 (Maumee) south to The Toledo Zoo parking lot.

Traveling east or west, take the Ohio Turnpike, exit at Gate 4/59 and you are approximately 10 minutes away by following Reynolds Rd. (U.S. 20) north to Glendale Ave., to the Anthony Wayne Trail (state route 25) or exit at Gate 4A/64, follow I-75N to exit #201A and follow state route 25 south.

Traveling northbound from Columbus or Cincinnati, take I-75 north to the #201-A exit. Then take state route 25 (Maumee) south to The Toledo Zoo parking lot.

All Lucas County residents are admitted free into the Zoo every Monday between 10:00a.m. - Noon (must have valid I.D)

This offer does NOT apply on holidays that fall on Mondays.

The Zoo is open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Visitors have one additional hour after the gates close to complete their visit. However, some animals may not be on exhibit in areas such as the African Savanna.

Parking is $5.00 per vehicle. Members must present a Toledo Zoo membership card to receive free parking in the Anthony Wayne Trail lot ONLY! Large vehiles, such as trailors and RV's will be charged an additional fee for parking.
