On the Friday before Easter, animals throughout the Zoo take
part in their own Animal Egg Hunt as they track down eggs
hidden in their habitats. In addition, the Animal Egg Hunt
features a number of craft areas and story times throughout
the day.The
Animal Egg Hunt is more than just fun for visitors—it’s
also a great form of enrichment. Through enrichment, we stimulate
the animals’ senses and encourage natural behaviors.
It’s a key component of their over all well-being.
