Carousel - Sneak Peek

Take a Ride on the Wild Side
The world's first and only African Animal Carousel, created by Carousel Works in Mansfield, Ohio, is now open at The Toledo Zoo. The carousel features 42 hand-carved, hand-painted figures and two ornate chariots. In all, 24 African animal species grace the new carousel, including gorillas, leopards, ostriches, mandrills and more!

Sponsor a Carousel Animal
Take the excitement to new heights by sponsoring one of the animals featured on our African Animal Carousel. With a donation of $5,000 (payable in one or two installments), you can sponsor such animals as a gorilla, elephant, ostrich or zebra. But don't delay! Over one-half of these beautifully handcrafted figures have already been sponsored!

In honor of your contribution, you will receive:

•	An 8x10 matted commemorative frame, featuring a 5x7 photo of you and your carousel animal.
•	A recognition plaque to be placed at the base of your animal.
•	Recognition in Safari! magazine and the Annual Report.
•	Free carousel rides for one year.
•	Your name on the African Animal Carousel plaque located in the African Pavilion.
