Get a check-up for your favorite stuffed pal!

Does your stuffed pal need a check-up or repairs? Whether you have a teddy bear, a monkey, or an animal never before seen, we'll fix him up until he's fit as a fiddle! And if you're ready to adopt a real live animal pal, the Toledo Area Humane Society will be on hand to help you find just the right cat or dog. With zoo keeper talks, puppet shows, activities and more, the Teddy Bear Care Fair is one event that's stuffed with fun!

Activity Schedule:
Stuffed animal check up and repair station and lots of other fun activities in Nature’s Neighborhood 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Toledo Area Humane Society adoption in the Museum of Science 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

10:15 a.m. – Sloth Bear Enrichment - Sloth Bear Exhibit
11:00 a.m. - Shark Feed -Aquarium
11:15 a.m. – Rhinoceros Hornbill Enrichment - Aviary
11:45 a.m. – Crocodile Feed - Reptile House
12:00 p.m. – Puppet Show - Museum’s Indoor Theatre
1:00 p.m. - Octopus Feed – Aquarium
1:00 p.m. – Puppet Show - Museum’s Indoor Theatre
1:30 p.m. – Polar Bear Enrichment – Arctic Encounter®
2:00 p.m. – Vulture Enrichment - Vulture Exhibit
2:30 p.m. – Meet our Veterinary Department – Museum’s Indoor Theatre

Visit the Museum of Science to meet our Commissary and Animal Behavior Departments:
Behavior: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Commissary: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

In addition to all of the teddy bear care in the Nature's Neighborhood Workshop from 11-4pm, we are happy to offer additional experiences at Nature's Neighborhood. At 1:45pm our keepers will host a "Meet a Keeper" talk with a 'wow' animal! At 3:30pm our program staff will let you meet the Nature's Neighborhood birds while they feed all our exhibit birds at the aviary. We will have our regular program pieces too like guinea pig table and 3pm spider feed.
