As a member of The Toledo Zoo, you will hold the ticket to an exciting year of unlimted FREE admission at one of the country's finest zoos! The Zoo's animal collection consits of over 4,835 mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and invertebrates, representing more than 700 exotic species from all over the world. From polar bears to penguins, from king cobras to corals, if you have a favorite animal, chances are, you will find it on exhibit at The Toledo Zoo.

Membership Matters…Just a Reminder
  • Zoo members are asked to show a second I.D. with their membership card. Please bring your membership card with you to receive free parking and free admission.
  • When using your membership card, one of the named adults on the card must be present for admittance.
  • If sending your child/children to the Zoo with a caregiver, please send a note giving permission for him/her to use your membership card. Please note that only one caregiver can receive free admission with your membership card.
  • Members receive on free visit to the “Lights Before Christmas” with their membership card. Please note that free admission is only valid for those covered under your membership category and that all family members must attend together.
  • Moving or have a second residence? If so, please notify the Membership Office with your change of address so that you will continue to receive your Zoo mailings.
  • If you have an e-mail address, or have recently changed your e-mail address, please send it to membership@toledozoo.org so you can receive Safar-E-Mail—our online membership newsletter. To ensure delivery and proper display of email from the Zoo, please add our email address, toledo.zoo@toledozoo.org to your address book and safe sender list.
  • Lost Membership Cards can be replaced by sending $5 to the Membership Office along with your name, address and telephone number.
  • Please consider renewing or upgrading your membership prior to its expiration. Renewing early demonstrates your commitment to conservation by reducing the need for renewal notices. First renewal notices will now be sent via e-mail (if we have your current e-mail address), and renewal orders can be purchased online.
  • Effectice January 1, 2007, only those renewing their membership prior to its expiration will receive the 10% discount on their renewal.

Note: Please allow a minimum of two to three weeks for processing and mailing your membership. If you intend to visit the Zoo sooner, you have the option of purchasing your membership at our Membership Sales Window on the day of your visit. Or if you've already purchased your membership online and have not received your card by the time you plan to visit, please stop by our Membership Sales Window for a day pass. Remember, when visiting reciprocal zoos, you must present your membership card. Other zoos cannot access our data base to verify your membership.
