K-12 students always like a chance to leave campus and learn about the fascinating world around them. At The Toledo Zoo, they will have great opportunities to learn about animals, conservation, and many other topics related to our planet. Partner with the Zoo’s Education department to plan an awesome interactive experience using our wide selection of on-grounds resources and programs. We can cater our resources and presentations to best suit your needs, including contact with live animals from the Education Department’s collection! Whatever kind of day you plan at the Zoo, the result is a positive, fun and informational visit that everyone enjoys.

How do I set up a Field Trip to the Toledo Zoo?

Scheduling a field trip that includes an experience with the Zoo’s Education department requires two sequential steps:

1) You’ll need to pre-register your group through our Group Sales department. Click here for field trip registration information

2) Once your registration is final, you can then contact the Toledo Zoo’s Education department to set up the type of program you want to particiapte in.  Click here to get some ideas about the On-Grounds programs we can provide for your students during your visit. Please note: for best results, we highly recommend that you register for your field trip and Educational experience at least two weeks in advance.
