When you provide your personal contact information to The Toledo Zoological Society (“Toledo Zoo”) website (such as name, address, phone number, and email address) to become a member, we will not give, share or sell this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. We also request information from the user on our membership forms and gift shop. Here a user must provide contact information and financial information (i.e., credit card number, and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to complete the transaction requested by the user. If we have trouble processing a request, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
The Toledo Zoo collects information from our members and users at several different points on our website. We will maintain the confidentiality of your personal contact and financial information, and it will be used to support your relationship with The Toledo Zoo.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.
