Learning in the Neighborhood

Imagine a place where kids can learn while doing what they do best -- play. Meet animals up close and explore the natural world in a fun-filled hands-on learning environment!

Programs Offered:

Ohio Animals
Come and explore wildlife that could be found in your backyard. This lesson examines Ohio’s Native animals and the special ways they adapt to the seasons.

Who Needs Plants?
Everyone! Come discover the world of plants, meet an animal whose survival depends on them and learn why we need them.

Lessons are taught by professional educators in the Nature’s Neighborhood Workshop and are aligned with the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.

These 30- to 45-minute programs occur in the Nature’s Neighborhood Workshop and can accommodate groups as large as 30 students

Lessons are offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at $35 per session. Programs are offered from September through April each year.
