Paul Simon will perform Live in Concert at the historic Zoo Amphitheatre on Sunday, June 11!

An exclusive online pre-sale for Toledo Zoo members will take place through Ticketmaster 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15 through 10 p.m. on Friday, March 17. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18. At that time, tickets may also be purchased through Live Nation, Ticketmaster or at the Zoo Box Office daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Paul Simon’s distinguished career he has been the recipient of many honors and awards, including 12 Grammy Awards and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for his work as half of the duo Simon and Garfunkel. He is a member of The Songwriters Hall of Fame, a recipient of their Johnny Mercer Award and is in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Simon and Garfunkel and as a solo artist. His song “Mrs. Robinson” from the motion picture “The Graduate” was named in the top ten of The American Film Institute’s 100 Years 100 Songs.

Fans of the TruTV show Impractical Jokers are in for a real treat when The Tenderloins, the New York based comedy troupe that created, produce and star in the show perform live improve and sketch comedy on stage!

Now in its 5th season, “Impractical Jokers” follows The Tenderloins as they coerce one another into doing public pranks while being filmed by hidden cameras. With each new season, the show continues to take dares to outrageous levels with new over-the-top hijinks. The Troupe have toured steadily nationwide over the last two years and the new tour, “Santiago Sent Us,” builds on The Tenderloins’ success on the road broadening the live show’s reach in the US and the United Kingdom. Natives of Staten Island, NY, Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto, James Murray and Brian Quinn met while attending high school and later formed The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe in 1999.

Fans of retro pop sounds with a cheeky modern twist are in for the experience of a lifetime this summer as Postmodern Jukebox and Straight No Chaser join forces for a co-headlining tour!

Both bands deliver contemporary pop songs with timeless flair and dedication to craft of a bygone era. Straight No Chaser shirk the blazers and khakis of campus a cappella groups for something far less strait-laced (or straight-faced), training their jaw-dropping vocal prowess and soulful harmonies on past and current hits. Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox re-imagines contemporary pop, rock and R&B hits in the style of various yesteryears, from swing to doo-wop and ragtime to Motown.

According to his website, for almost forty years, Sammy Hagar has been one of rock music’s most dynamic and prolific artists. From breaking into the industry with the seminal hard rock band Montrose, to his multi-platinum solo career and his ride as the front man of Van Halen, the “Red Rocker” has set the tone for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written like “I Can’t Drive 55,” “Right Now” and “Why Can’t This Be Love.” Hagar’s earned the highest respect of the music industry with a Grammy Award and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside Van Halen. He is currently on his fourth platinum run with the super group Chickenfoot. • Concerts are rain or shine. Umbrellas are not permitted (rain ponchos are allowed). No bottles, cans, food, or professional cameras are allowed.

• The Toledo Zoo is not responsible for booking the Summer Concert Series, nor are we responsible for canceling them due to weather. Unless otherwise determined by LiveNation, refunds will not be given in the event of rain.

• While Will Call tickets are available at both the Anthony Wayne Trail entrance and the Broadway entrance on concert nights, we recommend using the Anthony Wayne Trail entrance for your Will Call tickets.

• On concert days, ticket sales are available at the Broadway Street box office (entrance gate) at 6 p.m. Doors open one hour before the performance starts.
