Thinking About Becoming a Zoo PAL sponsor?
The Zoo PAL Program shares with you the joys of of "animal parenthood" (without the work). You can become personally involved in the care and feeding of an elephant, gorilla, lion, penguin, iguana, or even your favorite fish in the Aquarium—whichever animal best suits your fancy, or your budget.

You can individually sponsor an animal yourself, or your business, scout troop, school class or civic organization can develop that parental bond with a gorilla or a snow leopard. You may even share in the parenting of larger animals, such as elephants or giraffes, seals or rhinos, by contributing a smaller donation to their "food fund." Zoo PAL sponsorships also make great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings—or any holiday! Please note that any amount can be given for any animal, starting at $20.00.

How do I sponsor a Zoo PAL?
• Use our Zoo Pal list (includes a photo-based search option) to choose your ZooPAL online today. Our online selection process allows you to choose from a wide range of animals and donation amounts to suit every budget.
• Select one of our promotions displayed below to sponsor an animal online today!
• Click here to download an enrollment form and donate the amount of your choice.
• You can also enroll by phone at 419-385-5721, ext. 2068, or you can find information in the Visitor Services lobby, at the Membership Sales window located in the Anthony Wayne Trail entry plaza, or in the Administrative Offices located in the Museum of Science.

Premiums and recognition for Zoo PAL sponsors
Premiums are the thank-you gifts that we will send to you, which might include items such as a Zoo PAL certificate (certificates include a photo of your Zoo PAL animal), pin, decal or plush animal. You can decline the premiums and allocate all funds to your designated animal if you wish.

Donation structure
The following list explains our donation structure, and each donation category includes any item(s) listed before it:

  • The minimum donation amount is $20.00
  • All sponsors will be acknowledged on the Zoo PAL recognition board located in the Zoo's main plaza, near Cheetah Valley.
  • All sponsors will be invited to visit their animal at a special Zoo PAL Night at the Zoo held in May.
  • Sponsors who donate $100 or more will also be invited to our annual Zoo Donor Breakfast.
  • Sponsors who donate $200 or more will have their names listed on a special plaque at their animal's exhibit for one year and and will be invited to our annual Lights Before Christmas Donor Party.
  • Donors contributing $500.00 or more will also be invited to attend their choice of Zoo Donor Tours. Encounter Zoo animals up close, visit behind-the-scenes locations, and meet Zoo staff members!
