ADA Day at the Toledo Zoo

TOLEDO, Ohio –Rudyard Kiplling once said: “For the strength of the pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.” Be a part of the pack celebrating and supporting the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with The Ability Center during ADA Zoo Day on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Zoo will host an information fair with a variety of local vendors and organizations that will supply helpful information about disability-related issues. The fair offers information about benefits/insurance, caregiver support, childcare, housing/skilled care, medical equipment/adaptive devices, mental health/support services and transportation. The complete list of participating organizations can be found at abilitycenter.org/event/ada-zoo-day/. In past years, more than 5,000 guests have attended ADA Zoo Day annually.

Admission to ADA Zoo Day is free for Lucas County residents with valid proof of residency from 10 a.m. – noon. For non-Lucas County residents, regular Zoo admission prices apply.
