Zoo Educational Programs Overview
The Toledo Zoo Education department prides itself on the quality of our programs. We strive to create learning experiences that meet academic standards at both the state and national levels. We develop learning materials and activities that are inquiry-based, fun, and challenging for students of all ages. We can host your classes at the Zoo and we can also come to your campus with our Outreach programs or Assembly Programs. We offer live, interactive distance learning courses for schools with the necessary equipment, so whether you’re across town or across the country, we can meet you in person! Teachers also enjoy our Teacher Workshops which can help challenge them professionally while helping them with activity ideas and increase their awareness of wildlife.
