Celebrate Earth Day at the Zoo!

Party for the Planet

Saturday, April 18

Supporting Sponsors:

Here at Toledo Zoo, we’re all about being good stewards of the environment. That’s why Earth Day is such a big deal around here.  Celebrate with us by bringing in your recyclables and taking part in cool activities that help you learn how to be a little “greener” in the future.

We’ll have friends from local environmental organizations here at vendor booths to highlight their work in our community and show you how to get involved!  Most booths feature a take home project or a fun activity, so don’t miss these great activities.

Our Zoo animals and their keepers will have a special schedule of animals feeds and keeper talks to share with you including a small 47th birthday celebration for Lulu our rhino!
