TZ Bird Club
Adventure takes flight with the TZ Bird Club! Members receive exclusive event opportunities with the Zoo’s birding guides and beautiful resident bird species throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. All funds raised support the Toledo Zoo’s global bird conservation programs that work to save the Santa Cruz Ground Dove in the Solomon Islands, Negros Bleeding-Heart Dove in the Philippines, the Cheer Pheasant in Nepal and the Blue-Eyed Ground Dove in Brazil.
This club welcomes bird lovers of all levels, from beginners just getting started to those with extensive knowledge and a deep passion for birding.
Premium Membership includes:
- Free admission to 16 events of your choice, including:
- Regular bird walks throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan ($30–$50 for non-members)
- Educational workshops ($25 for non-members)
- Monthly newsletter from birding staff
- 10% off day trips (see schedule below)
- Annual meeting with Jeff Sailer, President/CEO (location and time to be determined)
- 25% off overnight trips (see schedule below)
- Personalized backyard birding tips and recommendations for your garden from the Zoo's ornithologist
- 10% discount to reserve Community Outreach Presentations
Standard Membership includes:
