To help us with our green initiatives, please bring a bag, plastic pumpkin, or other container for trick-or-treating.

Little Boo is the pre-school pirates’ and princesses’ chance to delight without the fright! Toddlers and preschool aged children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to trick or treat throughout the Zoo and enjoy puppet shows, strolling magic, character meet & greets, crafts and games sized just for them.

Teal Pumpkin Project

For Little Boo and Pumpkin Path, the Zoo will be taking part in the Teal Pumpkin Project™ and offering non-candy treats at ALL stations this year! This movement was launched as a national campaign by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) in 2014 and raises awareness of food allergies and promotes inclusion of all trick-or-treaters throughout the Halloween season. We will offer non-food treats as an option so all can enjoy the event safely and be able to receive a treat at EVERY station. All stations will be signified with signage.
