Wild Wellness Walkers

Take your daily walk to the next level as a Wild Wellness Walker! Explore four designated walking paths on Zoo grounds. Enjoy beautiful native plants and flowers as you walk among treasured buildings and exhibits. Visit our complimentary water and coffee station as you start your day with a brisk walk or casual stroll. Unlike your typical park trail, you will see your support at work as our Zoo team prepares to open the Zoo for the day. Walkers may also get a glimpse of some wildlife as our animals also begin their day!

Registration is FREE and open to both Zoo members and non-members. All walkers, including 2023 participants, are asked to register in advance as a Wild Wellness Walker. Name badges and lanyards will be produced and distributed at both the Anthony Wayne Trail and Broadway entrances upon their first visit. Please note that buildings and animal exhibits will be closed during walking hours.

Tuesday Talks with Toledo Zoo Staff

Starting at 8 a.m. in Blade Plaza, walkers can participate in a two-mile walk with a member of our Toledo Zoo team! Ask questions and learn more from our staff about the wonderful work taking place at your Toledo Zoo!

Stroll with a Doc

The Toledo Clinic Stroll with a Doc walks will return again this year, every Friday between May 31 and July 26. Stay tuned; topics for these walks will be announced the end of May.
