Animals and STEM

Animal topics will be explored within the framework of science, technology, engineering and math. From the physics of a cheetah running to the chemistry of poisonous dart frogs, animal topics will be explored using hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and projects.

This three-season program begins in September and runs through mid-May 2023 (excluding January). Each month will focus on a STEM topic and feature amazing animals. Toledo Zoo’s homeschool program is a fun way to learn through group activities, live animals and Zoo visits! Program participants will be divided by age.

Single class packages not available.

  • Classes are for ages 5-15. Students will be divided into classes of similar age.
