2026-2027 Series: Animals Fact or Fiction?
(Ages 5-10)
$125 per child for members / $155 per child for non-members
Are hippos more dangerous than sharks? Do frogs actually drink through their skin? Sometimes fact really is stranger than fiction! During this 7-part series we will explore amazing (and sometimes unbelievable) theories about animals to determine if they are fact or fiction! Throughout the program students will be exposed to the scientific process through fun activities, lessons, and meeting live animals up close. This three-season program begins in Sep. 2026 and runs through Apr. 2027 (excluding Jan.) Enrolled students will have the option of presenting at a project fair in early May (two dates available). Program participants should sign up for a class session by their closest age at time of registration. Students must be 5 years old by September 15th to participate in the 2026-2027 program.
Programs meet for a single 90-minute class session on the dates listed below once a month. Students sign up into classes of similar age listed on the registration. Choose between morning (10:30 a.m. - noon) or afternoon (1:30 - 3 p.m.) sessions and day of the week (Wed., Thurs., or Fri.).
