The Zoo is a perfect place to spend a great "green" day with your family! Learn about environmentally-friendly initiatives, conservation efforts, enjoy animal demonstrations and activities across the Zoo.
Due to City of Toledo budget constraints, recycling services will not be part of Party for the Planet in 2026. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming recycling stations back next year.
Member Mornings Bird Walk
Zoo members are invited to join Zoo ornithologist, Brittany Leick-Laird for a family bird walk on grounds, including some behind-the-scenes spaces. Learn how to use binoculars as we explore what birds have returned this spring season. Walk takes place 9 -10 a.m. Meet at the sea lion fountain in Blade Plaza.
