Toledo Zoo Announces Encore of Lights Before Christmas Through Jan. 4

TOLEDO, OH – Dec. 29, 2025 – The Toledo Zoo is excited to announce an encore presentation of Lights Before Christmas presented by Huntington Bank, extending the beloved holiday tradition through Sun, Jan. 4.

Originally scheduled to conclude Dec. 31, the extension gives families additional opportunities to experience the Zoo’s signature winter event following the holidays. Families will have another chance to enjoy the dynamic light displays, animated scenes and festive atmosphere that have defined Lights Before Christmas for four decades.

Guests can stroll through more than one million twinkling lights, explore illuminated animal displays and enjoy seasonal treats throughout the Zoo during the extended run. The encore dates are included with regular Lights admission and reservations are required.

On New Year’s Eve, admission is available beginning at 10 a.m. for the Noon Year’s Eve event. On New Year’s Day, Lights admission is from 3 – 8 p.m., Zoo closes at 9 p.m.
